Step 1.

To create an account, you need to be invited by someone who already has an account. Ask one of your colleagues (to invite you, they need your email address).

Once someone has invited you to join ekota, you’ll receive an email (from ‘[email protected]’) titled: You have been invited to join ___ on ekota!

The **link is valid for 24 hours. If you haven’t followed the link within 24 hours, then you will need to ask for a new invitation.

Step 2.

Clicking the link in the email will take you to the platform, where you’ll be asked to enter your name and create a password.

Then you will need to download an 'Authenticator app' to your phone (at CogCo, we tend to use Google Authenticator) as a measure to keep your account safe.

You will need to use the app to scan the QR code on the screen. Then, every time you log in, you will need to use the code that is shown on the app.

Step 3.

Download the 'backup codes' to your computer. You will need these if you ever get locked out of your account.

Step 4.

Now, you can log in. Now your account is up and running, you’ll automatically be included as a ‘team member’ with UNDP.
