You can set up survey questions for participants to answer before they enter the conversation space
Here’s how it looks when you’re adding questions:

…and here is how it will appear to participants:

Don’t just add demographic questions for the sake of it.
Instead, think about what questions you want to ultimately answer
e.g. Are people under 25 more likely to agree with a certain statement?
e.g. Do people who live in a certain region disagree with certain types of statements?
Profile questions come in 3 question types:
Multiple choice
- Multiple-choice questions can be made single-select (only one box can be ticked) or multi-select, depending on the nature of the question.
- If you’re asking “Which factors influence your decision to date your partner”, participants will be expected to tick multiple options, whereas “What is your age” only requires one box to be ticked.

Text Response
- A text response question allows participants to submit their own response via typing into the box, rather than selecting from preset options.
- This is valuable for gaining deeper participant insights, but it must be noted that this drastically increases the potential workload for processing outputs.
